This is a fun shock effect guaranteed to get gasps as well as laughter from any audience. The magician has a card selected from a regular deck of cards (the cards could even be borrowed) after the card has been returned to the deck the cards are dropped into a papa sack. The magician explains that he is going to find the spectators card without looking and dips his hand into the bag. A card is brought out triumphantly by the magician but, it is NOT the selected one! The magician tries again and after a few seconds the audience hear a loud ‘SNAP’ come from the bag and the magician yells in pain. He brings his hand from the bag and it is seen to be trapped inside a large rat trap along with the selected card! Very easy to do. ALWAYS get’s a reaction. Completely safe
