We are now back and unpacked from the Blackpool Convention. A big
thanks to all at Blackpool Magicians Club for another great event. We
sold out of Colour Changing Sponge Balls, Tora Colour Changing
Rubick Cube's and the Supreme Dippy Ducks. All the items will be
available in about three weeks. Another good seller was our 'Drift'
and 'Predicto Transpo', which will be back in stock next week. The
time seems to be flying by, and next week we will be into March.
We will be sending out our Mar/Apr Preview in the next week or so,
these are FREE - just email us and we'll send you a copy.

We will be at the Blackpool Convention from Fri 19th Feb - Sun 21st Feb. If you want anything bringing call us on 01924 339933 and save the postage! The shop will still be open as usual.
On Wed we had Steve Short and Eddie Dawes signing copies of their new book about the life of David Nixon. They also presented an excellent lecture, followed by some clips of Davids many TV appearences. The evening went well, and we would recommend any society who have not seen it to get in touch with Steve.

We have managed to locate a few original Supreme 'Dippy Ducks'. These are a great effect, and if Mark can put all the bits together, we should have some in time for Blackpool! We will then asseble the remainging ones, and put them on the site for sale. If you want to reserve one, please call - 01924 339933. Once these are gone, thats it - FOR EVER!

We have been preparing for the Blackpool Convention from 19th - 21st FEB and have lots of new items which we will be putting on the site over the next few days.
A great item we have been trying to get in for ages is the Colour Changing Sponge Ball. These have now arrived and were well worth the wait, check them out!
This Wed 10th Feb will be the David Nixon Lecture and book signing at the shop. This is a per-book event and we still have a couple of spaces, so call for details if interested - 01924 339933
Mark has just released his latest effect - 'Drift', which is now available online.

On the Wed the 10th February we will be having a special event here at Merlins. A New book, David Nixon - Entertainer With the Magic Touch, will be available to buy, signed by the authors. For the first time, Edwin A. Dawes and Steven Short have interviewed David's many friends and loved ones to present a full portrait of his life. Lavishly illustrated using family photographs, publicity posters and television stills, this is a truly enchanting book. Edwin and Steve will be presenting a lecture on the life of David Nixon, including many interesting events in his life, including clips from his many TV appearances. This is a pre-book event only, so for more details and to reserve a space, please call 01924 339933. Spaces are strictly on a first come basis.

Our 15th anniversary Friday specials are going well. Sorry to everyone who missed out, but stocks are limited to a first come basis, so check on Friday if you can, cos when they're gone at that price, that’s it! We have just started stocking the 'Mystery Magazine'. This is out every month, and is in full colour A5 size publication at a cost of £2.50 per issue. We still have some dates for Dealer Dems left for 2010, so contact us as soon as possible if you'd like to book us. We also have some new items from Angelo Carbone and Andy Clockwise, so check them out. Out Predicto Transpo is also selling well and could be due to our youngest recruit (see the video).
