Hi everyone,

Very new to magic, got a few tricks in the states last year. Haven't really mastered them but its good fun.

However, I am looking more towards mentalism now and think performers like Derren Brown are excellent and would really love to learn the techniques.

Anyone have any idea how I should start going about this ?

Hi Charlie,
Welcome to the forum. There are lots of books and DVD's on mentalism (13 Steps to Mentalism is a great starter)
Also, there is a fantastic set of mentalism props by Outlaw Magic whish Merlins stock. If you want any advice or help, just email merlins@btconnect.com or call Mark or Phil on 01924 339933 or if passing, call at the shop in Wakefield.
