Michael Murray says - When Magicbox appeared on the scene I was the first customer to walk through the door and have been part of the fixtures and fittings ever since. Having originally specialised in close up magic with cards and coins it has only been over the past decade that I have moved over to the dark side and now concentrate my efforts in the field of mentalism. Graeme Shaw says - He was a keen customer at Magicbox from the age of 14 and started working there on a Saturday when he was just 15. Graeme`s main interests were always stage magic and illusions, however this slowly changed to be more close up and children's magic over the years.

This weeks 10 in 2 is Thomas Anthony.

Thomas started out by learning close-up and table magic, Thomas then decided to try his hand at stage magic. After working on a stage act for years and performing for the general public he then decided to enter a competition for magicians which managed to get him the title of West Lancs Stage magician of the year! At present Thomas performs at many functions throughout the U.K with his amazing table magic, visual comedy cabaret and sensational Illusion show.

This weeks 10 in 2 is Mark Leveridge

Mark has been a full time professional magician since 1981 and from that time has brought his particular brand of comedy magic to a huge number of events both large and small. Much of the magic that Mark uses in his performances he has invented himself, and in fact Mark is well known in the magic world for his range of exclusive products which he sells to entertainers worldwide via his mail order company Mark Leveridge Magic. Mark is a member of the Inner Magic Circle with Gold Star, which is the furthest you can go in that organisation, and he has also won a number of magic competitions, the most notable being the Zina Bennett Close Up Magic Trophy which is awarded by the International Brotherhood of Magicians.

Hi, this weeks 10 in 2 is Levent.

Levent started out at a young age performing throughout his native New York City. At age 17 he was awarded 1st prize for Stage Magic at the International Brotherhood of Magicians' National Convention. This led to a 2-year engagement at Resorts International Casino Hotel in Atlantic City, where he was twice nominated "Best Act in a Production Show". Levent has since been performing to packed audiences at various venues throughout the world.

Northern Magic Convention

We will be at the Northern Magic Circle Magic Convention in Scarborough on 31st March and 1st April. This should be a good weekend, and the Northern are always very friendly to the registrants. If you are going, call by the stand and say hello. We have just got sorted after the South Shields Convention, which was once again excellent. We will be adding several new items over the next few days which we picked up there from David Regal and Card-Shark.
