Merlins of Wakefield - It's always magic at Merlins

An illusion that will instantly grab the attention of your audience leaving them spellbound and gripping their seats is suspense. A discerning performer should know that this illusion has been designed to cover all its safety requirements concerning his assistant. The magician opens the front and back doors of the cabinet so that the audience can see right the way through, on the outside are some nasty looking steel blades, showing how sharp these blades are the magician begins to slice various fruits and vegetables, such as apples, cucumbers, and carrots on the steel blades showing the audience that the blades are very sharp and dangerous. There are sixteen blades, eight on either side that would scare any audience. The magician takes hold of the handles and guides the blades in a downward motion showing the audience what they are about to witness, the handles are now taken up again and connected to a safety catch. The magician invites his assistant to enter the cabinet, the front and back doors are closed. Now the magician removes the safety catch and brings the blade down which now enter into the cabinet, the magician repeats the same moves with the other blades, all blades have now entered the cabinet. The audience is speechless, what has happened to the assistant inside the cabinet. The magician approaches the cabinet and opens the front and a back door, the assistant has vanished leaving only the blades of the guillotine showing inside the cabinet. Again the magician closes both doors of the cabinet and returns the guillotine to their original position making sure that the safety catches are in place. The doors of the cabinet are opened once again this time to see the pretty assistant sitting safe and unharmed, the magician takes her hand and escorts her out of the cabinet to a well deserved round of applause from your audience.
