The Magician places an envelope on the table explaining that it contains a prediction card. Next a deck of cards is freely shown to have different faces and back designs. With the cards spread face down, a spectator freely selects one which is then placed face down on the table. Next the deck is spread face up and a second card is selected and placed face up next to the first chosen card.
The prediction card is removed from the envelope and shown back and front. Unfortunately it doesn’t seem to match either of the selections – perhaps the trick has gone wrong! The Magician explains that since he was able to see the cards being selected, he was really trying to predict the other side of each card. The two selected cards are then turned over to show a ‘perfect match’

This effect has been shared with only a select few in the past, and has fooled many a seasoned professional! This is one of those killer routines that has been kept secret for some time. You will be blown away by the cleanness and impossibility of the effect and also it's simplicity! We are very glad Adrian has allowed us to release it to the magic fraternity.
Listen to this: Whilst the performer's back is turned, two participants each look at a card from the deck. The selections are free choices and different every time. The deck is then shuffled and dropped into the performer's empty pocket. As each person merely thinks of their card the performer produces it from his pocket! All without a single move!!
But there's more! Check this out: The deck is fairly shown front and back at the start of the effect. The selections really are genuinely free and from any part of the deck. The participants handle the deck throughout. The effect may be instantly repeated and the selections are different every time. The deck is self-contained, nothing extra is hidden in the performer's pocket or added or removed at any time. The deck is genuinely shuffled before being placed in your pocket. If you like, it may be placed in one of the participant's pockets and yet you can still locate the selections! For the 'mental' performer, you can simply name the two selections without producing them.

A spectator has a free choice of several numbered cloak room tickets. The ticket is stapled to the back of a freely selected card, and one half of the ticket is torn off and given to the spectator (no switch) The card is lost any where in the deck by the spectator and the magician displays his skill?! in finding the card (no surprise as it has a ticket stapled to it!) The ticket is removed and destroyed and the card is cut back into the deck. The spectator now looks through the deck and discovers one card has a face down ticket stapled to it, it is their card, they remove the ticket and it is the number they selected AND the piece matches the piece they have been holding from the very start! “an absolute fooler” Harry Lorayne. This commercial effect is simple and a pleasure to perform!
