A large slate is displayed with four card covers along one side. Three spectators each write a three digit number on a pad, a fourth spectator totals the numbers up to arrive at a random number. This number is written down on the edge of the slate opposite the covers. You now ask someone to select any one of the figures on the slate (free choice, no force) You chalk a frame around the selected didgit. One by one you remove the covers and the audience see that you have written the EXACT same number! Not only that but the same digit is framed in chalk!! Complete with instructionb by Peter Warlock!

They seemed to have a real 6th sense about their "clients", even before the cards were turned over, they would reveal "things".
They all used what appeared to be similar tarot decks. Decks with spooky clown like polka dot patterns on them. They were known as the Carnie Tarot. Dr. Todd Landman and I have been brewing this for the past few months and there are some very cool additions. First off you all seemed to like the idea of a woman always next to a maniacal man.
I'm not going to give away what his profile is in the new books, but in the 1935 edition, he's always in the room next to her!
The "force" profiles in each book (1934,1935 and 1936) are different but easy as cake to "get" Each book has a slightly different cover. The font is different, the placement of the wards are different but only you would really notice. Advantage? You know who is looking at which profile forces!
I have always felt that if you "acquired" one log, you could easily have acquired 3 years of log books. I also feel this gives even greater credibility to the books (like they need it!) 

In the mid 1930's The Mysterious Wonder Tour traveled along the old carnival circuits across the U.S.Owned by Commodore Cornelious Hobbs, The Wonder Tour was a mix of both sideshow and Carnie lore, with an emphasis on the mysterious and unknown.
Printed especially for the tour were the Hobbs & Co. Teller cards.
Hobbs himself was often seen handing out boxes of Teller cards, free to any and all takers. Oddly enough, many would be recipients of his mysterious little deck refused the gift outright, while others readily accepted the cards, much to the delight of Cornelius.
Those that accepted The Teller, soon found whether they were worthy of his little "gift" and its true powers. The Teller deck is comprised of 21 True Cards of Fate: 20 fortune telling cards and 1 card we call the pendulum card. These additional scraps of information take on significance and substance when they come up in particular places, and are interpreted by the spectator, themselves. The "Hobbs & Co." side not only reveals to you the card chosen, whether Past, Present, Future or Spirit, but the diabolical methodology will tell you the EXACT CATEGORY they have decided on! A Victorian beast of a structure built in 1851, Colney Hatch was the largest asylum in Europe and boasted the longest single corridor, which was more than a quarter of a mile, while the building itself had over six miles of corridors to house over 3000 patients in 32 different wards.

Some of the more famous residents included Aaron Kosminski, one of the men suspected of being Jack the Ripper, and two wives of Aleister Crowley (Rose Kelly and Maria Teresa de Miramar), the famous British occultist, writer, philosopher, mystic, and influencial member of the Golden Dawn, the Argenteum, and Ordo Templi Orientis.

Luna is over 150 pages and 100% examinable.

There are no "banks", no sevengali principle or short pages used.
You do not need to know a page number, you do not peek the book. The spectator never says or writes down the room they've chosen to visit. There are literally hundreds of rooms and hundreds of different patients in the registry.

The only thing used is the book.

Not only will you give a detailed description of the resident, who they are, why they were put there, how long they've been there, how old they are...you will reveal a certain item from the opposite page out of over 60 different items, an item that only applies to their chosen resident and not the other residents listed on the page. (BTW, this information is all in the entry they are looking at).

Your spectator will be asked to just "think" about the residents disposition (listed in the entry), their fears, sadness, rage and other emotions.

You then tell the spectator exactly what emotions they are experiencing. You become "empathic" as you describe the emotions they are only thinking about, emotions that are listed right there in the residents entry

You are able to "connect" two residents and reveal why one fears the other.

So much information is revealed, yet the method is diabolically simple. I think the Witches' Almanac is easy, well "Hatch" is even easier.

The presentation can be as dark or light as you wish to make it, it's up to the performer to decide. Every page in the book is hand aged. The cover is an aged and distressed velo stock, aged with the same expertise as the Witch book.

The book is exactly what the Colney Hatch resident log looked like. The cover is the same institutional design.

Included are administration pages, Doctor listings and additional service departments. Luna is perfect for those that want to add a dramatic and emotional presentation to their set.

The Scorpion is a reproduction of a Ninja weapon known as a Makibishi.

 The Makibishi was a very small device covered with tiny poison tipped spikes. When the Ninja were being pursued, or needed to escape their enemy, they would throw dozens of the tiny Makibishi devices onto the pathway behind them.

The spikes would penetrate the woven sandals of their enemies and the hoofs of their horses, resulting in a fairly quick death.

We left the poison off the Scorpion device, but your audience doesn't know that.

The basic effect is quite simple. You place the scorpion on a table along with 4 little paper cups. Turn your back and tell the spec to cover the scorpion with one of the cups and place the other 3 cups in any positions to the left or right of the cup with the Scorpion under it.

One by one you crush each cup leaving the Scorpion untouched. Needs NO SET-UP needs NO-RESET!. You're always ready to go. Perfect for table hopping, walk around and parlour!
