He says this has happened to him before and he shows a clear plastic bag full of torn up card pieces! He offers one piece of the selected torn card to the spectator to hold and drops the remaining pieces into the bag and gives the bag a good shake. He now takes a clear empty glass and dips it into the bag of card pieces, taking it out full to the brim with card pieces.He covers the glass with a silk, makes a magical gesture, when the silk is removed all the card pieces have vanished! except for a couple of pieces in the bottom of the glass. These are tipped into the spectators hand and everyone realizes that it is a folded card. Its the restored card! and the piece they hold matches exactly!! All props can be examined at the end if you wish.
